So this weeks theme is Photoshop....well I've only had PSE 6 for a couple of weeks and I am really just learning....Here is my attempt at a before and after......I just played around until I made some changes. I really am not sure what all I did but have a look, I'm not too happy with the edges, I thought when I erased them it would take away the corners, guess I was wrong, still got plenty of learning to do with PSE 6.

I think you did a GREAT job with your PP! Very cool effect!
Keep practicing, you'll get it! TOni
I really love your second one. Very vintage.
I like the washed out look, great job!!
Yup just keep practicing! Eventually you figure a lot out by trial and error and most definitely fellow peas!
This has a nice feel to it.
well for being a newbie at photoshop you did an awesome job. love the effect you've got here!
Looks very cool! I agree with you about the border, I think I prefer it without it, but I am so new to this as well, so I'm afraid I'm not much help!
great job!
That's a cool grundy look. Great job!
Keep praticing...you did a great job! I really like both photos!

I like your ps version. think it's pretty cool
I really like the vintage look on it and I don't mind the edges so much. Looks great.
like the vintage look of the shot.
It has a wonderful, soft, vintage feel...even the edges look good!
Playing around is a great way to learn! You've got a nice vintage look there!
I like the way your daughter is posing against the fence, and looking slightly away. . . really lends itself to the kind of editing you did--the grungy look. Experimenting with Elements is a great way to learn, and especially checking out some of the tutorials on the 2peas site.
For someone who jsut played around, I am awfully inspired :) Thanks for your comment on my before and afters, I could definatly take some pointers from you :)
I llke what you've done here.. I think I would also try to do something with the distracting red/white stripes - maybe burn them a little and see how that goes?
Wow, great job!
verycoOL!
